“intro: PERSONA”: I just wanna give you all the shoulders when you cry
Intro: Persona merupakan comeback trailer seri "Map of the Soul: Persona" yang dirilis pada 28 Maret 2019. Berbeda dari album sebelumnya yang mengikutsertakan tiga rapper BTS pada satu track, lagu rap di "Map of the Soul: Persona" hanya dibawakan oleh leader, RM seorang.
Lagu ini hadir dengan genre hip hop trap berdurasi 2 menit 54 detik. Selain instrumental dan gaya rap RM yang menarik, seperti ciri khasnya dalam membuat suatu mahakarya, RM tak pernah lupa untuk memberikan sentuhan makna pada tiap-tiap potongan lirik dalam intro: Persona.
Kata Persona berasal dari bahasa Latin yang aslinya mengacu pada topeng teater, juga dapat merujuk pada citra publik dari kepribadian seseorang, peran sosial yang diadaptasi, atau karakter fiksi.
Pada intro: Persona RM membagikan bayangannya dalam persona miliknya dengan dunia, sebuah percakapan antara dirinya sebagai seorang idol dan kepribadiaan serta pandangannya tentang dunia.
